Standard & refresher course options
This course is designed to provide you with the confidence, knowledge and skills necessary to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. The course is suitable for the general public, students, corporate clients and healthcare professionals.

Option 1: Face-to-face learning
Full CPR course, 2-3 hours face-to-face, includes demonstrating the use of a Defibrillator
Refresher Course duration:
To qualify for a refresher course you would need to have an in-date certificate and bring it to the training session and submit a copy with student paperwork.
Minimum age for participants is 14 years. A current Perform CPR certificate is needed for a recertification course.
For workplace or onsite classes we come to you (minimum 7 participants). So get a group together, contact others in your industry, clubs, similar groups, friends and family. For individual students please call us to find out the next available course in your area.

Certificate valid for 12 months as per industry standard. The Australian Resuscitation Council recommends a refresher course every 12 months.

Emergency Training Australia conducts progressive assessment throughout the course; this includes practical demonstrations as well as a multiple-choice assessment. Due to the practical components of the course participants are advised to wear comfortable casual clothing.
This qualification is nationally recognised and workplace approved throughout Australia.
